Job Description

The Lube and Tire Technician at Monro, also known as General Service Tech, is an entry-level automotive technician position that offers a great start to your career. From day one, you'll participate in a comprehensive mechanic training program covering all aspects of your role. As a General Service Technician, you'll be an essential team member performing maintenance services on guest vehicles. You'll work with your team to deliver 5-star guest experiences, using your technician skills to care for people and their cars, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of shop in the absence of the Store Manager
• End of day paperwork and cash handling
• Assist the store manager with duties and responsibilities
• Perform mechanic duties such as changing, mounting, and installing tires
• Wheel removal, tire repair and balancing, patch/plug repairs
• Quick lube services like lubrication and oil changes
• Inspect and rotate tires
• Basic automotive maintenance such as battery installation
• Training provided for alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance

Compensation

The hourly pay range is $16 - $17, based on experience, plus incentives (if applicable). Compensation will be determined according to experience level.
