Job Description

The Lube and Tire Technician at Monro, also known as General Service Tech, is an entry-level Automotive Technician position and an excellent way to start your career at Monro. From day one, you will participate in a comprehensive mechanic training program covering all aspects of your role. As a General Service Technician, you will be a vital team member, performing maintenance services on guest vehicles. Your efforts will contribute to delivering 5-star guest experiences, ensuring customer safety and vehicle reliability.

Responsibilities

• Changing, mounting, and installing tires
• Wheel removal, tire repair and balancing, tire patching/plug repairs
• Lubrication and oil change duties
• Inspecting and rotating tires
• Basic automotive maintenance such as battery installation
• Training provided for alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance

Compensation

The hourly rate ranges from $17.00 to $19.00, based on experience, plus incentives if applicable. Additional compensation and incentives are available.
