Job Description

Compensation: The hourly range is $16.00 - $18.00, with potential for incentives. Pay depends on experience.

About The Role: This full-time or part-time hourly position involves performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance per company standards and manufacturer specifications. The role emphasizes delivering 5-star service by effectively communicating vehicle issues and solutions, and meeting guest expectations for time and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately per Monro standards.
• Tire services including removal, balancing, patching, changing, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
• Vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrications, basic maintenance, and battery testing/installation.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle, identifying and communicating additional needed services.
• Assist in inventory management and store duties to maintain cleanliness and readiness.
• Follow safety standards, including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
• Test drive vehicles following company policies, observing all traffic and safety laws.
• Adhere to company policies, governmental standards, and safety protocols.
• Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing training.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license, good MVR, and ability to conduct test drives.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Additional Information

This environment involves exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust. Must be able to work flexible hours, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand/walk for long periods, with frequent reaching and bending.
