Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Store Manager on store operations, including hiring, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Support technicians by training and developing team members on shop operations and guest services.
- Assist with scheduling, completing timecards, and assigning work to technicians.
- Perform automotive technician duties when necessary.
- Attend meetings and training to stay current on tools, parts, and repair techniques.
Roles and Responsibilities
Automotive Technician
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify repairs.
- Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle.
- Assist with inventory and store duties.
- Follow safety standards and perform vehicle test drives.
- Maintain technical knowledge through training.
- Operate equipment safely and perform other duties as assigned.
General Service Technician
- Perform routine vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with guests about vehicle issues and solutions.
- Ensure quality and timely service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- For Assistant Manager: 2+ years of automotive and sales experience, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs., good communication skills.
- For Technicians: Automotive training or experience, ASE certification preferred, valid driver’s license, ownership of basic tools or participation in company tool program.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay ranges: $18-$28/hour for technicians, with additional incentives.
