Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy automotive parts store. The role focuses on driving sales, building professional customer relationships, and coaching a team to meet performance targets.

The GM will oversee inventory and operations, lead on-duty shifts, and implement process improvements while ensuring top-notch customer service. Requires 2-3 years of retail leadership experience, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to manage profitability and analyze business performance (P&L)

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships/sales, including coaching and action plans
• Recruiting, hiring, development, performance mgmt., coaching and engagement of store team
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards
• Coach team to deliver on Customer expectations (DIY and Professional)
• Manager on duty responsibilities and safety compliance
• Lead change management and embrace diversity
