Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role requires strong automotive knowledge, people leadership, and the ability to manage inventory and protect store assets.

You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, coordinate with customers and professionals, and ensure safe, efficient store processes across shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills required to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and team accountability.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store Team Members.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Coach team members to meet Customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Lead on-duty responsibilities including safety and open/close duties.
