Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in engineering software-enabled, electrical/electronic, mechanical, or embedded vehicle systems.
• 3+ years reading and drafting technical requirements and specs.
• 4+ years applying systems engineering concepts in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform ISO 26262 Functional Safety analyses for vehicle technologies.
• Develop and maintain safety work products and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with experts across software, controls, hardware, and engineering to define safety requirements.
• Apply Ford Functional Safety processes and MBSE practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety processes and tooling.
• Communicate technical conclusions through documentation and reviews.
