VIP Automotive Group of Long Island's Merrick Jeep is seeking an Automotive Receptionist to be the first point of contact for a busy dealership in Merrick, NY. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service at the front desk and supporting showroom operations.

The position offers full-time hours with a rotating weekday/weekend schedule, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for growth within a large dealership group.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable answering and managing multiple phone lines.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Experience with dealership software (CDK) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and visitors entering the dealership.
• Assist with customer check-in and determine needs.
• Answer and route incoming phone calls (multi-line system).
• Enter customer data into dealership systems (CDK experience a plus).
• Direct customers to sales or service departments.
• Provide brochures and basic dealership information.
• Assist with administrative tasks (filing, data entry, scheduling).
• Create key tags and manage vehicle key organization.
• Support showroom operations and maintain a professional front desk.
