Job summary

Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) in Ann Arbor is seeking interns for the Transportation group to support field investigations, data collection, and analytical tasks. The role is full-time, 40 hours/week, with coursework considered.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, gain hands-on experience in forensic engineering, and contribute to reports and client reviews while balancing college commitments. Eligible majors include Mechanical, Biomedical, Civil/Structural, Materials Science; GPA 3.3+

Qualifications

Majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Materials Science, Civil/Structural Engineering.
3.30 GPA or higher, preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists with field investigations and site inspections under supervision.
Performs engineering research, data collection, and analysis to support ongoing projects.
Assists in preparation of technical reports and documents.
Participates in laboratory testing and analysis activities.
Supports consultants in organizing and analyzing evidence and technical data.
Attend client meetings and internal technical reviews as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned in support to the multidisciplinary consulting team.
Internships with ESi are full-time, 40-hours per week, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
If enrolled in college, take no more than 2 classes and work at least 32 hours/week.
