Job summary

The role requires hands-on automotive knowledge, strong cost-control capabilities, and leadership of a mechanics team. Based at RIPRO, Warwick, RI, the position reports to the facility with a non-remote, on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• Automotive background preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical fundamentals, maintenance, diagnosis and repair.
• Ability to manage equipment repair and oversee problem correction with standard tooling.

Responsibilities

• Schedule preventative maintenance inspections and review results.
• Analyze root causes of vehicle failures and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure adequate inventory to support business processes.
• Adhere to purchasing limits and expense approvals for cost control.
• Review and approve automotive expenses.
• Identify employee training needs for development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and resolve issues.
