Job summary

Rohrman Automotive Group seeks an Automotive Finance Manager to structure deals, present financing options, and protect customers’ investments across Chicagoland stores. You’ll partner with sales to close transactions and ensure a smooth buyer journey from handshake to delivery.

This role is part of a high-earning, performance-driven group with opportunities for advancement and a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive F&I experience in a dealership.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding PVR and product penetration goals.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state compliance regulations (CFPB, TILA, ECOA).
  • Proficiency with DMS software (Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, CDK, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills — you can explain complex financial concepts simply and persuasively.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • State insurance license.

Responsibilities

  • Present financing and leasing options tailored to customers' financial situations.
  • Build relationships with lending institutions to secure favorable rates and terms.
  • Present and sell F&I products including extended service contracts and GAP coverage.
  • Ensure all financing paperwork complies with federal, state and lender requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maximize per-deal profitability while maintaining CSI.
  • Maintain knowledge of current manufacturer programs, incentives, and rate sheets.
  • Mentor and support sales staff on finance processes and product knowledge.

Automotive Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager at a Rohrman dealership, you'll play a pivotal role in the ownership experience — structuring deals, presenting financing options, and helping customers protect their investment. This is a high-earning position for someone who is detail-oriented, compliance-minded, and skilled at building trust quickly. You'll partner closely with the sales team to close transactions and deliver a seamless customer journey from handshake to delivery.

This posting is for current and future Finance Manager openings across our Chicagoland dealerships. Qualified candidates will be considered for opportunities throughout the region based on business needs and the best overall fit.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers to present financing and leasing options tailored to their financial situation and vehicle needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions to secure favorable rates and terms.
  • Present and sell F&I products including extended service contracts, GAP coverage, and protection packages.
  • Ensure all financing paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and lender requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maximize per-deal profitability while maintaining excellent CSI scores.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of current manufacturer programs, incentives, and rate sheets.
  • Mentor and support sales staff on finance processes and product knowledge.

Requirements
