Job summary
Metro Kia of Madison is seeking a motivated Express Service Technician to join our busy Service Department. You’ll perform maintenance and basic repairs, communicating clearly with customers and advisors. We offer paid training, a path for career advancement, and a schedule that avoids late nights.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using tablets and digital inspection software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Technical training or ASE is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes.
- Rotate tires and check tire pressures.
- Complete Digital MPI inspections on every vehicle.
- Record brief Video MPIs to explain condition and recommendations.
- Check and top off all vehicle fluids.
- Inspect brakes, batteries, belts, hoses and wear items.
- Replace air and cabin filters and wiper blades.
- Road test vehicles when necessary.
- Communicate findings with Service Advisors.
- Follow Kia procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Metro Kia of Madison is looking for a motivated, dependable Express Service Technician to join our Service Department.

- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- No late nights!
Starting Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour (based on experience), with regular opportunities for advancement as your skills, certifications, and responsibilities grow.

As an Express Service Technician, you'll help keep our customers safely on the road by performing quality maintenance services while providing a transparent and professional service experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Rotate tires and check/set tire pressures
- Complete Digital Multi-Point Inspections (MPI) on every vehicle
- Record brief Video MPIs to explain vehicle condition and maintenance recommendations to customers
- Check and top off all vehicle fluids
- Inspect brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, and other wear items
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and other maintenance items
- Road test vehicles when necessary
- Communicate inspection findings and recommendations with Service Advisors
- Follow Kia repair procedures and dealership quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Deliver efficient, accurate, high-quality work every day
- Previous automotive, express service, or quick lube experience is preferred but not required
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn and grow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to learn new technology and service procedures
- Comfortable using tablets and digital inspection software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical school education or ASE certifications are a plus
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
