Job summary

Casey Kia in Newport News, VA, recently relocated to a larger, remodeled facility, is seeking experienced Express Service Technicians to join our team. Express Service Technicians perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks on vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
• Experience as an Express Service Technician/Lube technician preferred.
• Certification from an automotive school preferred.
• Ambitious and hardworking presence in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• A positive, friendly attitude.
• A customer service mentality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to learn new technology, as well as repair and service procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Completes work outlined on repair orders efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Conducts inspections and recommends necessary repairs or replacements.
• Inspects vehicle fluid levels and replaces or replenishes as necessary.
• Lubricates the moving parts of the vehicles.
• Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.
• Communicates with service advisors and customers to explain and advise on repairs.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
