Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group is seeking a Sales Receptionist in Manvel, TX. The role requires handling phone calls, greeting walk-ins, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accurate records and a professional appearance.

Ideal candidates will have prior receptionist experience, preferably in automotive dealerships, and flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays. This on-site, part-time position offers paid training, benefits, and a pathway to growth.

Qualifications

• Experience as Receptionist preferred, automotive dealership experience recommended.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and good driving record.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones professionally within three rings and transfer calls promptly.
• Greet and assist walk-in customers with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Record messages when needed and ensure timely follow-up.
• Maintain license plate log and keep it accurate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Answer phones in a professional manner, within three rings, and transfer customers promptly to appropriate destination
• Takes messages from customer when desired person is unable to be reached or at customer request
• Greet and accommodate walk-in customers promptly; provides timely, friendly, professional service
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to identify needs, and resolving customer concerns
• Maintain a professional appearance always
• Call customers when license plates come in and keep a license plate log to ensure accuracy
• Other duties as assigned

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S
• Previous Receptionist experience; automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills including usage of Inventory Control software, Internet and Microsoft Office Suite
• A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards
• Flexibility in schedule, to accommodate business needs

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:00pm -8:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am - 8:00pm
