Driven Autobody Shop in Nebraska is seeking an Automotive Estimator to guide customers through the collision repair process from initial vehicle assessment through completion. You will work with customers, insurers, suppliers, and the production team to develop accurate repair plans and keep repairs moving forward.

You will inspect damage, prepare repair estimates, coordinate with insurance and suppliers, order parts, and communicate status to customers and teams while maintaining detailed

Formación

• Experience in collision repair estimating is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to communicate with customers, insurance representatives, suppliers, and coworkers.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple repair assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome customers and assess their needs with professional service.
• Inspect damaged vehicles and evaluate collision damage scope.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates covering labor, parts, ops, and replacement needs.
• Develop repair plans with insurance companies and suppliers.
• Order and monitor parts throughout the repair process.
• Communicate repair status to customers, insurers, and production staff.
• Coordinate repair scheduling to keep vehicles moving efficiently.
• Explain processes, claims, payments, needs, and timelines to customers.
• Maintain current Repair Orders and manage multiple repairs with changing priorities.
• Perform quality checks and finalize paperwork before closing repairs.
• Collaborate with production to address issues and keep repairs on track.
• Assist with other shop duties as needed.
