Driven Autobody Shop is seeking an Automotive Estimator to guide customers through the collision repair process from initial assessment to completion. The role collaborates with customers, insurance representatives, suppliers, and the production team to create accurate repair plans and keep repairs progressing smoothly.

Key responsibilities include estimating, parts coordination, and clear communication of status and requirements to clients and insurers.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating collision repairs is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable using estimating software and computers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to interact effectively with customers, insurance reps, suppliers, and coworkers.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Able to manage multiple repairs in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine their needs with professional service.
• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess collision damage scope.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates covering labor, parts, and operations.
• Coordinate repair plans with insurers and suppliers.
• Order and monitor parts throughout repairs.
• Update customers, insurers, and production staff on status.
• Schedule repairs to keep workflow efficient and on track.
• Explain repair processes and payment requirements to customers.
• Maintain Repair Orders and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Collaborate with production team to address issues and keep repairs moving.

Driven Autobody Shop is seeking an Automotive Estimator to help guide customers through the collision repair process from the initial vehicle assessment through completion. This position works closely with customers, insurance representatives, suppliers, and the production team to develop accurate repair plans and keep each repair moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and determine their needs while providing professional, attentive service
• Inspect damaged vehicles and evaluate the scope of collision damage
• Prepare accurate repair estimates that account for labor, parts, repair operations, and replacement needs
• Develop repair plans in coordination with insurance companies and suppliers
• Order and monitor parts throughout the repair process
• Communicate repair status and updates to customers, insurance representatives, and production staff
• Coordinate repair scheduling and help ensure vehicles move through the repair process efficiently
• Explain the repair process, insurance claim procedures, payment requirements, repair needs, and expected completion dates to customers
• Maintain accurate and current Repair Orders throughout each repair
• Manage multiple vehicle repairs and changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Complete quality checks and final paperwork before assigned repairs are closed
• Work collaboratively with the production team to address issues and keep repairs on track
• Assist with other shop responsibilities as needed, which may include vehicle detailing, test drives, and general shop cleanup

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience in a collision repair facility is preferred, but not required
• Comfortable working with computers and automotive estimating or other software systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, insurance representatives, suppliers, and coworkers
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Comfortable managing multiple repair assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to shift priorities as repair needs change
• Positive attitude and professional approach
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Team-oriented work style and willingness to learn
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Reliable transportation
