Job summary

American Expedition Vehicles in Wixom, MI seeks a Program Manager to liaison between development teams and customers, managing schedules, deliverables, and BOMs from concept to SOP. Under limited supervision, this role coordinates upstream and downstream activities to ensure milestones are met.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with design, engineering, and suppliers, write RFQ packages, stage gate approvals, and maintain clear communication throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Automotive Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any Engineering. Work Experience may be substituted based on the manager’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage new part development programs with design, engineering and suppliers.
• Stage gate approvals, RFQ packaging, tooling kickoff and PPAP processes.
• Coordinate product meetings and track open issues to resolution.
• Create and manage timing for each product and its BOM.
• Write test plans, coordinate testing and analyze results with countermeasures.
