ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Design Release Engineer to own the end-to-end horn design and integration for vehicle platforms. You will coordinate with global Tier 1 suppliers, drive design reviews, and ensure rigorous testing and documentation are completed.

The role requires hands-on mechatronics experience, CAD/CAM proficiency (CATIA V5 or NX), and DFMEA/DFSS knowledge within a fast-paced automotive environment. Excellent collaboration across teams is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• Automotive mechatronics, body electrical systems, switches, or acoustic signaling devices experience.
• CATIA V5 or Siemens NX proficiency for digital mockups, packaging envelopes, and clash/clearance.
• Solid GD&T, DFMEA, and vehicle safety regulatory knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, packaging, and vehicle integration of electro-mechanical and electronic horns.
• Serve as primary technical contact for global Tier 1 suppliers and manage design reviews.
• Author and execute DVP&R documents plus coordinate acoustic, durability, and environmental testing.
• Develop DFMEA and apply DFSS methods to minimize failure modes.
• Manage engineering releases and PLM documentation in Teamcenter.
• Lead root-cause analysis for test failures or quality issues.
