Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking an Electrical Systems Validation Engineer to validate electrical systems using test plans and procedures for automotive body, audio, active chassis and safety systems.

The role requires extensive CAN tool usage (CANoe/CANalyzer) and traditional electrical lab testing; you will test in VHIL/HIL setups, analyze data, and report validation results. Collaboration with feature owners, engineering, and suppliers is essential for defect identification and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Engineering experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to test vehicles.
• Willing to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Ability to troubleshoot ECUs, HIL and test environment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Validate electrical systems using validation test plans and procedures.
• Develop and execute HIL/VHIL tests and procedures.
• Analyze data, generate reports and drive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with feature owners, engineering, suppliers and extended teams.
• Provide feedback on test plans and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Document test environment, automation and vehicle configuration requirements.
