Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate who will engage customers online, by phone and in person to guide their vehicle purchase in a no-haggle environment. You’ll respond to leads promptly, provide information, and help move customers from inquiry to in-store experience while delivering an exceptional experience.

You will follow up to ensure satisfaction, drive loyalty, and seamlessly transition customers to the Service department, supporting ownership and long-term relationships

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interact with hundreds of customers online, by phone, and in person to guide vehicle purchases in a no-haggle environment.
• Respond to leads in a timely fashion, provide information, and guide customers from phone/internet contact to in-store experience.
• Help customers select vehicles and negotiate terms to fit budgets and lifestyles.
• Close deals and drive loyalty through post-purchase follow-up and service referrals.
• Transition customers to the Service department to support ongoing ownership experience.
