Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple locations.

It can be part-time or full-time, with an Equal Opportunity Employer statement included. The candidate will handle DIY services, maintain inventory standards, and assist customers in-store and over the phone.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Ability to speak and write English (Spanish a plus) and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to use basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet overall sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
