Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking an experienced District Manager to lead multiple markets across the South Central District. The role focuses on developing high-performing teams, achieving growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences within the automotive diagnostics, calibration, and repair segments.

You will recruit and coach General Managers, manage budgets, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive operational excellence across several locations in the district.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the automotive industry
• Bachelor’s Degree required; 6+ years of related experience or equivalent constitutes alternative

Responsibilities

• Recruits, trains, coaches, and motivates staff
• Directs General Managers to ensure efficient operations and cost control
• Ensures safety standards and regulatory compliance across districts
• Develops and executes account planning to grow existing business and capture new opportunities
• Maintains budget projections and operates within approved budgets
• Manages KPIs for productivity and inventory control
• Drives continuous improvement and scalable solutions across locations
• Travels 50% monthly within the district
• Performs additional duties as assigned
