Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking a Distribution Center Coordinator in the United States to manage daily warehouse activities in a fast-paced Tier 1 automotive distribution environment. You will oversee inventory, order fulfillment, and ERP transactions while supporting cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, accurate delivery.

You will collaborate with the DC Manager and Supervisor, promote safety, and lead improvement projects. A strong background in logistics and SAP/ERP is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field, or 5+ years in distribution/warehousing/transportation.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-driven operation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with operations, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily distribution center activities to support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives.
• Partner with the Distribution Center Manager and Supervisor to organize workflow and priorities.
• Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Manager or Supervisor.
• Promote a positive, accountable safety culture and model workplace behaviors.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare operational reports, and communicate performance trends.
• Ensure accurate SAP/ERP transactions, cycle counts, inventory records, and financial controls.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer schedules.
• Maintain customer returnable packaging records and reporting.
• Investigate operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support Quality and Environmental Management Systems audits and document control.
• Lead or participate in continuous-improvement projects using SQD, lean, and waste-reduction principles.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, customer service, and sales to improve service.
