Job summary

Family Ford of Enfield is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician capable of working on light-duty vehicles, diesel trucks, and fleet vehicles in a modern, air-conditioned shop. This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and more using Ford diagnostic equipment, while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity in a family-owned dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Automotive/Truck/Diesel Technician
• Experience on light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles required
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills
• Experience with gasoline and diesel engines
• Ford certification or Ford Pro experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must have a complete set of professional technician tools
• CDL license preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair both light-duty vehicles and heavy-duty trucks
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine service
• Service engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, steering, and suspension
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on gasoline and diesel vehicles
• Use Ford diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve problems
• Complete repair orders and communicate findings clearly
• Maintain high standards for repair quality, safety, and productivity
