Job summary

Capital Ford of Columbus is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel vehicles ranging from F150s to heavy-duty models. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and adherence to manufacturer standards within a busy service environment.

The ideal candidate has Ford Power Stroke experience, valid license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. ASE certification is preferred, with ongoing Ford training provided.

Qualifications

• Ford Diesel Certification (preferred) or ability to obtain.
• Experience with Ford Power Stroke diesel engines.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• ASE Certifications (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Inspect vehicle systems including suspensions, brakes, and electrical.
• Accurately document work performed and parts used.
• Follow manufacturer and dealership standards and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our growing service team.

Position: Ford Diesel Technician

As a Diesel Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles from F150's to F750's and E series models. Here at Capital Ford of Columbus we see all makes and models and many unique heavy-duty trucks from motorhomes to service bodies.

• Perform diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
