Job summary

Family Ford of Enfield is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to service light-duty vehicles and heavy-duty trucks. The role offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package in a modern, air-conditioned shop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Automotive/Truck/Diesel Technician or equivalent.
• Experience working on both light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles is required.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Experience with gasoline and diesel engines.
• Ford certification or Ford Pro experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must have a complete set of professional technician tools.
• CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair both light-duty vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine service.
• Service engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, steering, and suspension.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on gasoline and diesel vehicles.
• Use Ford diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve problems.
• Complete repair orders and communicate findings clearly.
• Maintain high standards for repair quality, safety, and productivity.
