Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts.
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace diesel engines
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace transmissions and drive line components.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in diesel technology preferred.
  • ASE Diesel Certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engine systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL is advantageous.
