Job summary

Capitol GMC is seeking an automotive technician to inspect and repair vehicles, perform multi-point inspections, and stay current with industry practices. You will work with diagnostic tools, test-drive vehicles, and communicate findings to service advisors.

Candidates should have 1+ years of diagnostic experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to participate in training. ASE certs and X-Time/CDK experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automotive diagnosis and problem-solving experience.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.
• DMV Check required.
• Willingness to participate in in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform multi-point inspections on every vehicle.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to inform customers of needed services.
• Maintain paperwork for customers and records.
• Repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, and other systems.
