Job summary

LeadCar GMC Utica seeks an experienced Master-Level Automotive Service Technician with strong diagnostic abilities to service GM vehicles and mentor junior technicians. The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and adherence to manufacturer standards.

We offer up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on certifications and experience, with a compensation range of $45.00–$55.00+ per flat-rate hour.

Qualifications

• Master-level diagnostic experience with strong electrical troubleshooting.
• Minimum of three years of professional automotive repair work.
• GM/dealership training or GM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems accurately.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of drivability, electrical, mechanical issues.
• Complete repairs per dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to service advisors.
• Mentor apprentice and developing technicians.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and proper documentation.
