Job summary

Capitol Auto Group is seeking a Pre-Owned Automotive Technician to join our team in a customer‑driven automotive shop. The technician will diagnose, repair and service a variety of makes and models, using standard shop equipment and diagnostic tools.

We expect a minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience, reliable work ethic, and a full toolset. The role emphasizes quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and teamwork in a family‑oriented dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an automotive technician in automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem solving and repair.
• The ability to work on many different makes and models of vehicles.
• A working knowledge of shop equipment and diagnostic equipment.
• A high level of motivation for customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, team building – all with a customer focused attitude.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Full set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
