Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC seeks a Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair tire and automotive services while delivering an excellent customer experience.

The role requires 1+ year of automotive repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ASE certifications are preferred (A4/A5) with a 609 certification and/or state inspection license a plus. You must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive diagnostic, problem-solving and repair experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; ASE certifications preferred (A4 Steering & Suspension, A5 Brakes).
• Section 609 certification preferred; State Inspection license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specifications (brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, alignment).
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to coworkers and customers.
• Mentor and assist colleagues; maintain clean, safe work areas; follow safety policies.
