The role requires an accounting degree or commensurate experience, two years in a dealership office, proficiency with dealership financial statements, and CDK.

Qualificações

• Accounting degree or commensurate experience.
• Two years of experience in a dealership office position.
• Working knowledge of dealership financial statements.
• Automotive industry accounting experience.
• Proficient in CDK.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Responsabilidades

• Assist controller with preparation and timely submission of complete monthly financial statements.
• Interpret, analyze, and communicate financial trends and cash needs to the Controller.
• Supervise office staff, including receptionist and cashier, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Review journal entries and approve adjustments to inventory, cost of sales, and expense accounts.
• Prepare and process all workers' compensation and other insurance claims.
• Coordinate and prepare month-end reconciliations for all accounts, physical inventories, and expense accruals.
• Maintain fixed asset and prepaid asset accounts; calculate and reconcile depreciation expense monthly.
• Prepare end-of-month accounting reports and run monthly expense trend analysis.
• Assist in preparation for annual internal and external audits; provide requested information and follow up on corrections.
• Provide backup support for cashier and receptionist as needed.
