Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Four to ten years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos and procedures.
• Ability to present information to customers, clients and employees.

Responsibilities

• Reports the financial condition of the total dealership to the dealer/general manager regularly.
• Prepares a complete monthly financial statement per guidelines and manufacturer formats.
• Interprets the financial statement and informs dealer of trends.
• Participates in short- and long-term financial forecasts for the dealership.
• Provides managers with detailed financial and management reports.
• Maintains cash management system and advises on excess cash usage.
• Reviews general ledger, reconciliations and depreciation assets.
• Ensures compliance with government finance regulations and tax filings.
• Manages dealership computer system and loss reserves.
• Coordinates annual audit and inventory.
