Job summary

A dynamic automotive company in Columbia, SC is seeking an entry-level accounting associate for a full-time position. Responsibilities include assistance with Tag & Title tasks, document scanning, inventory entry, and maintaining accounting schedules. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with accounting software, excellent customer service skills, and strong organizational abilities. Previous dealership experience and knowledge of title processes are advantageous. This position offers health benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership is a plus.
• Working knowledge of title processes is a plus.
• Being a Notary Public is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Tag & Title tasks.
• Scan and file documents.
• Enter inventory data.
• Conduct internal deal audits.
• Validate deal checklists.
• Prepare out of state titles.
• Prepare lien payoffs.
• Track MSO and titles.
• Manage used car purchases.
• Support office personnel.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Handle clerical tasks.

Applicant must demonstrate good administration and organization skills.

• Deal Checklist Validation
• Out of State Title Preparation
• Lien Payoff Preparation
• MSO and Title Tracking and Follow Up
• Used Car Purchases
• Support office personnel
• Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts for wholesales, dealer trades, lien payoffs, etc.
• Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned
