Position Summary

Contribute to the growth of the organization across all lines of business through customer engagement, expert product and service knowledge, follow-up, and follow through at the service desk, on the sales floor, and at the register.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers on the phone and in-store, engaging with them, scheduling appointments, building trust, understanding needs, communicating processes and timelines, and selling parts and services to optimize vehicle performance; adhere to Company Customer Care standards.
  • Organize and manage the service business through work order and register transactions, vehicle inspections, and product knowledge.
  • Assist in customer care, work order processing, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase (OP) ordering under management supervision.
  • Follow policies regarding cash, credit, checks, refunds, and returns; collaborate with management on customer service issues and business opportunities.
  • Conduct routine express automotive services such as tire mounting, balancing, rotations, oil changes, fluid top-offs, lubrications, filter and bulb replacements, battery installation, and vehicle inspections.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring services like wheel torque and fluid changes meet standards.
  • Work with management to maintain a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, applying knowledge appropriately.
  • In designated locations, may be responsible for opening and closing the shop.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety, and environmental rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • At least one year of related experience in automotive service.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, percentages, and fractions.
  • Strong verbal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for long periods, reach, squat, and operate vehicles safely. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities.

The pay range is $16.50 to $18.60 per hour plus commission.
