Position Summary

Contribute to the growth of the organization across all lines of business through customer engagement, expert product and service knowledge, follow-up, and follow through at the service desk, on the sales floor, and at the register.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. First point of contact for customers on the phone and in the store. Responsible for engaging customers, scheduling appointments, building trust, understanding needs, communicating processes and timelines, and selling parts and service that make the customer's car run at peak efficiency; adheres to Company Customer Care standards to meet customer expectations.
  2. Responsible for the organization and productivity of the service business through work order and register transactions, thorough vehicle inspections, and service and replacement part knowledge.
  3. Assists management in customer care, work order and register assistance, facility maintenance, and Outside Purchase (OP) ordering.
  4. Follow all policies and procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies. Work with management to address customer service issues, complaints, and business opportunities.
  5. Conduct and participate in routine express automotive services, including tire mounting, balancing, rotations, oil changes, fluid top-offs, lubrications, filter and bulb replacements, battery installation, and vehicle inspections.
  6. Implement and execute safety procedures, ensuring wheel torque and oil/fluid services are performed per standard operating procedures.
  7. Partner with Management to maintain a safe and healthy work environment compliant with laws and company policies.
  8. Communicate effectively with all associates, management, and customers; interpret and apply information appropriately.
  9. In designated locations, may be responsible for opening and closing duties.
  10. Maintain an organized and clean shop.
  11. Adhere to all company policies, safety, and environmental rules.
  12. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Valid Driver's License.
  3. One year of related experience in automotive service.
  4. One year of sales experience preferred.
  5. Basic knowledge of mathematical concepts; ability to apply formulas for commissions and discounts.
  6. Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
  7. Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.
Physical Demands/Work Environment

The physical demands include frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, reaching, climbing ladders, and operating a vehicle. Visual and communication skills are required.

The pay range is $16.50 to $17.05/hr plus commission.
