Job summary

Northern Engraving seeks a Cost Estimator to organize cost estimation processes and analyze cost data using cost models in Sparta, WI. This full-time role reports to the Project Senior Manager, NBHX Trim North America.

Responsibilities include analyzing BOM costs, raw materials, tooling, and manufacturing processes; building and maintaining cost models; and collaborating with Engineering and Procurement during quotes to target cost benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
• Proficient with MS Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the cost of BOM, raw materials, process and tooling according to engineering data.
• Provide the manufacturing cost estimation and business case analysis as base for sales team.
• Establish and improve the oversee cost model and database.
• Regional responsibility to build cost model and member of cost benchmarking.
• Analyze cost breakdowns from supplier RFQ and understand all cost influence factors.
• Work with Engineering & Procurement during the quoting phase to establish reference cost targets.
• Develop close technical relationships with suppliers to identify best cost solutions and cost improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
