Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager to partner with Relationship Managers to oversee a Corporate Banking credit portfolio and grow revenue by closing new business and expanding existing relationships.

Responsibilities include underwriting credit exposure, managing risk, and addressing customer credit questions. The role requires strong relationship management, analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products.
• Strong relationship management and business development skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite all types of credit account exposure and manage an assigned credit portfolio.
• Close new business relationships and expand existing relationships as directed by senior management.
• Manage credit risk and respond to prospect or customer credit questions; make independent calls on assigned portfolio.
• Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers; identify customer needs.
