Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager to partner with Relationship Managers and oversee a Corporate Banking credit portfolio. You will help grow revenue by closing new business and expanding existing relationships, while underwriting varied credit exposure and managing risk.

Responsibilities include responding to credit questions, making independent calls on the portfolio, and providing customer service. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures and products.
• Strong relationship management and business development skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite all types of credit account exposure.
• Manage an assigned credit portfolio.
• Close new business relationships and expand existing ones.
• Manage credit risk and respond to credit questions.
• Make independent calls on assigned portfolio of relationships.
• Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers.
