U.S. Bank seeks a Portfolio Manager to partner with Relationship Managers to manage Institutional Client Group (ICG) credit relationships in the Transportation sector.

You will underwrite credit exposure, oversee a portfolio, and close new business while expanding existing relationships. The role requires a Master’s degree or equivalent work experience, 10+ years in commercial banking, and strong relationship, analytic, and communication skills to work across the bank and grow client revenue

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of commercial banking experience.
• Strong relationship management and business development abilities, with thorough knowledge of credit products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
• Well-developed written communication and verbal presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite all types of credit account exposure.
• Manage an assigned credit portfolio.
• Close new business relationships and expand existing relationships.
• Manage credit risk and respond to prospect or customer credit questions.
• Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers.
• Identify customer needs.
