Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager to partner with Relationship Managers and manage an Institutional Client Group credit portfolio in the Transportation sector.

You will underwrite credit exposure, manage risk, and close new business while expanding relationships with existing customers. The role requires 10+ years of commercial banking experience and a Master’s degree or equivalent, with strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
• 10+ years of commercial banking experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial lending policy and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite credit account exposure and manage a portfolio.
• Close new business relationships and expand existing ones.
• Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls.
• Identify customer needs and respond to credit questions.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to manage relationships across the portfolio.
