Job summary

Diehl Collision of Bellevue in Bellevue, PA is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator / Automotive Damage Appraiser to join our growing collision repair team. You will inspect vehicles, prepare accurate repair estimates, and communicate with customers and insurance companies to guide them through the process.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with collision estimating software (CCC ONE), OEM procedures, and a strong focus on quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Collision Estimator or Auto Body Estimator.
• Experience preparing automotive collision repair estimates.
• Proficiency with CCC ONE estimating software preferred.
• Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and industry standards.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and accurately assess collision damage, including structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damage.
• Prepare detailed automotive collision repair estimates using CCC ONE or other industry-standard estimating software.
• Communicate with customers regarding repair recommendations, estimates, timelines, and the collision repair process.
• Work directly with insurance companies, adjusters, and claims representatives.
• Prepare and submit insurance estimates and supplemental repair requests.
• Identify hidden damage and coordinate additional repairs with collision technicians.
• Review repair plans to ensure all necessary parts, labor, materials, and repair procedures are included.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and insurance company requirements.
• Coordinate with technicians, painters, parts personnel, and management to maintain efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and customer records.
• Monitor repair progress and provide customers with timely updates.
• Help resolve customer concerns and insurance-related questions.
• Ensure repair estimates meet company quality and accuracy standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the collision repair process.

Collision Estimator Responsibilities

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced automotive professional who is organized, dependable, and committed to quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience as a Collision Estimator, Auto Body Estimator, or Automotive Damage Appraiser.
• Experience preparing automotive collision repair estimates.
• Proficiency with CCC ONE estimating software preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive collision repair procedures, structural repairs, refinishing, and parts replacement.
• Experience working with automotive insurance companies and claims adjusters.
• Ability to identify vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates.
• Understanding of OEM repair procedures and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple repair files and prioritize responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency and accurate documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license.

I-CAR, ASE, or other automotive collision repair certifications are a plus.

Candidates with experience as an Automotive Collision Estimator, Body Shop Estimator, Insurance Damage Appraiser, Auto Damage Estimator, Collision Repair Advisor, or Automotive Service Advisor are encouraged to apply.
