Job summary

Subaru of Glendale in Glendale, CA is seeking an Automotive Assistant Manager with closing experience. You will take over stalled negotiations, structure payments, assess trade-ins, and align credit profiles with lenders to finalize deals.

Collaborate with F&I to introduce GAP and service contracts, and coach sales consultants during live negotiations. Experience in automotive sales and closing, F&I knowledge, valid license, and CRM/DMS proficiency are required; bilingual abilities are a plus

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of direct automotive sales and closing experience.
• F&I knowledge with credit analysis and lender approvals.
• Valid driver’s license and state salesperson license.
• Proficiency with dealership software (CRM & DMS).
• Strong communication and active listening; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deal Closing: take over stalled or difficult negotiations.
• Deal Structuring: calculate payments, assess trade-ins, align credit profiles with lender guidelines.
• Objection Handling: overcome final pricing, financing, or trade-in concerns.
• F&I Collaboration: introduce protection products like GAP and service contracts to boost back end profit.
• Floor Coaching: train sales consultants on effective techniques during live negotiations.
