Job summary

118-WW TMG MFG OPS in Dallas seeks an Electrical Engineer to resolve automotive Class-D audio amplifier issues and drive opportunities for external amplifiers, head units, telematics, E-call & AVAS applications.

You will support customers to integrate audio amplifiers into their end products, review schematics, and collaborate with global teams to move designs toward production while creating useful design guides and evaluation modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree.
• 2+ years related engineering experience including driving customer issue resolution.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematics and layouts.
• Solid analog and mixed-signal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own automotive Class-D audio amplifier issue resolution and drive DWIN opportunities for external amplifiers, head units, telematics, E-call & AVAS.
• Support customers in integrating audio amplifiers into end products via email, forum, calls, and on-site visits, reviewing schematics and layouts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global sites to ensure smooth project execution from design to production.
• Create technical documents and TI designs to enable customers to select, design in and debug products.
• Design and evaluate customer evaluation modules (EVMs) and guide production release.
