Job summary

CareGard is seeking an Automotive Claims Specialist in Grapevine, TX, to review claims, determine contract coverage, and coordinate with repair facilities while delivering prompt, accurate service.

The ideal candidate has automotive industry experience and strong communication skills, with a background as a Service Advisor, Parts, Warranty, or Technician preferred. This full-time role offers a stable schedule and opportunities for ASE certification-related earnings.

Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience is required.
• Experience as Service Advisor, Parts, Warranty, or Technician is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repairs and automotive systems.
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) not required but added compensation is available.
• Onsite work in Grapevine, TX.

Responsibilities

• Review and adjudicate claims according to contract terms and ancillary policy coverage.
• Verify submitted repair claims and confirm eligibility for coverage.
• Process approved claims and document all activity within the claims management system.
• Communicate with repair facilities regarding repairs, diagnostics, coverage questions, and claim payments.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding claims and coverage.
• Work closely with other adjusters and departments to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, spreadsheets, and follow-up activities.
• Deliver professional, knowledgeable, and courteous customer service throughout the claims process.

Compensation

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Additional hourly premium available for active ASE Certifications (A1-A8).
