Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Vehicle Claims Adjuster for our client in South County, Missouri. This role handles setup, review, and processing of automotive claims, communicating with repair facilities and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; additional technical training or degree is a plus
• 3+ years automotive repair experience preferred; strong mechanical knowledge
• Proficient in MS Office and web-based applications; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls in a call center environment, meeting performance, handle time, and volume expectations
• Review and adjudicate claims according to established departmental procedures and company guidelines
• Verify repair estimates using national labor and parts guides, including labor rates and standard repair times
• Analyze repair documentation to determine coverage eligibility under service contract terms
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, dealers, repair facilities, and vendors via phone and email
• Determine appropriate authorization amounts using sound judgment and mechanical knowledge
• Accurately document all claim activity, research, and decisions in the claims administration system
• Work collaboratively with the claims team and proactively support department goals
• Maintain high productivity and customer service standards
• Participate in training sessions and continuing education as required
• Assist management with special projects or issues as requested
