Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Cashier at Napleton Auto Park of Urbana to handle customer transactions accurately and help ensure a smooth car-buying experience.

You will receive payments, issue receipts, and balance cash at the end of your shift, with opportunities for growth. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation/sick time, training, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience; automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to the appropriate person for resolution.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
