We are recruiting a Buyer - Intermediate to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.

NOTES:

• Hybrid – 3 days onsite
• May require limited national travel to attend trade shows

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors
• Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university
• 1-5 years of Automotive Buyer experience
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt, negotiate, and manage projects
• Capable of managing tactical workload while developing & implementing strategies and process improvements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and web-based applications; experience with SAP is a plus
• Strong communication skills with all levels of management and peers, both internally and externally
• Desire to grow and learn in a challenging environment
• Experience working collaboratively with diverse perspectives
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, interacting with international suppliers and team members
