Job summary

Honda of Oakland is seeking energetic Sales Professionals to join our team. We are a Cardinale Automotive Group property known for building lasting customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities include consultative selling, vehicle demonstrations, and follow-up with buyers. Prior automotive sales experience is helpful but not required; flexible hours and weekends are a plus. A professional appearance and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive sale experience preferred, but not required.
• Available to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to meet sales targets.
• Willingness to learn vehicle features, financing options, and dealership processes.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Nurture enriching relationships to build clientele for life.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority.
• Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and planned activities.
• Bring a positive attitude to work every day.
