Job summary

Crash Champions invites applicants to join the STEP apprenticeship to become a collision repair technician. You will be paid while you learn, with mentors guiding you daily through hands-on training and a structured curriculum.

No prior collision experience required, though experience is a bonus and a valid driver’s license is needed. The program offers full-time employment with benefits, PTO, and sick leave from day one, plus opportunities to earn up to six figures as skills advance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours/week.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HS Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the manufacturer’s repair standards and create a complete repair plan.
• Perform disassembly/reassembly, bumper repair and dent repair as described.
• Repair dents using sheet metal work, body filler, and plastics as you advance.
• Learn structural damage identification and repair procedures.
• Set up and anchor structural repairs and perform 3D vehicle measuring.
• Learn welding methods and MIG welding to achieve I-CAR Weld Certification.
